At the risk of blatant self-promotion, I thought I would mark a milestone: this little blog hit 50,000 views sometime in the last 24 hours.
I started it as a way of “learning out loud” about strategy, marketing and social media for local nonprofits, like doing school book reports… without the books. In our connected age, wonderful people are experimenting and sharing what they learn. I no longer try to keep up – it’s like drinking out of a firehouse — but I do take big gulps now and then. I’m indebted to the people I’m learning from, people like Beth Kanter. I’ve tagged posts with her name at least 10 times but I know she has influenced my thinking far more times than that. Consider reading her blog or following her on Facebook.
